Package Import
James LePage
CodeWP 2.0 supports multiple files and can be used to generate Packages. Packages can be exported as .zip's and installed on WordPress as plugins.
A big use case for CodeWP is improving, editing and explaining external code - the user copy/pastes into an empty code file and can then use all of CodeWPs powerful functions.
But what about plugins? External plugins can be improved, but there's no easy way to bring them into the platform, besides copy/pasting multiple files and "rebuilding" the plugin as a CodeWP Package manually.
This request is to add the ability to import Packages of multiple files to make it easy to use CodeWP features on solutions with multiple files.
As a note, custom modes are also being built and will be included under the CodeWP Agency plan.

This is one of the very reasons I haven't signed up. I have existing plugins I would like to work on, but can't import them. You'd have a subscriber for life if you made this possible. I just need to upload my plugin zip and be able to start working on the separate files.

This would be an excellent feature. There are many old, outdated, or dead open source plugins that could be brought back to life by being able to upload a zip file with all the files in it as a package an then be able to interact with it.

Community feedback would be great here. Importing complete plugins with Composer Packages, et, would be infeasible.
Do you want this feature?
How best should we implement this?
